Experience - My first sunrise in New Zealand and it certainly disappoint! Clearly I’m not a winter snow girl, as even though it was only -2 degrees celsius, I managed to get my feet wet and I don’t think I’ve ever felt this cold. It took me hours to warm up again (and several coffees). Note to self - always take spare socks aside.The cold aside, I was awestruck by the serene calm of this location, the snow capped mountains, beautiful mirror like water and the birdlife all just made for a beautifully calm feeling - what a magical start to any day.
