Experience - Before venturing here I had read that it was around 200 steps down to reach the falls, which means there are the same 200 steps back up to get out! It was truly only my love of waterfalls that convinced me to venture down. I will be forever grateful that I did. This was also the day that I finally understood how to use a polarising filter - used correctly that’s what really makes the greens pop in this image. I left the view that most people stick with (my other image “Sacred Falls” shows this) and discovered this beautiful view where the waterfall was framed perfectly by the magical ferns. I hope you can imagine yourself curling up and relaxing under these ferns as I have often envisaged.
